Security Manager

Your future responsibilities
As Security Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, developing and monitoring security work within the company. Swedfund has high standards for security, and you will ensure that Swedfund complies with relevant laws and regulations governing security and that these are adapted to the requirements of the business and developments in the surrounding world.
In this role, you will work broadly, both operationally and strategically. You will draw up strategies and plans for security work and work proactively with monitoring developments in the surrounding world.
Your main tasks will consist of being responsible for Swedfund's security framework, working with travel-, physical and personal security, establishing risk and vulnerability analyses, and managing crisis and continuity plans. You will be a support to the entire business in security related matter. The focus is also on digital security and raising awareness of existing risks among Swedfund's employees.
The role also includes identifying needs and procuring the subcontractors required in the security area. Furthermore, you will work with physical protection in the form of perimeter protection, access control systems and security procedures, alarm systems, security services, systematic fire protection work, etc.
You will have many contacts both internally and externally, and your role will include ensuring that Swedfund's staff have a high level of security awareness. You will lead training initiatives to ensure and measure staff knowledge in the area of security in various ways. You will also participate in various networks to keep yourself up to date in the field.
In this role you will report to Chief HR and Administration Officer and belong to the HR-function, consisting of 3 employees.
Your background
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in the field of security protection or equivalent documented work experience that Swedfund considers equivalent. You should have several years of experience in the role of security coordinator, security manager or equivalent, and be accustomed to working both strategically and operationally.
Furthermore, we are looking for someone with experience from working in high-risk countries, in developing and drafting policy documents and presenting risks to board and management in an educational manner.
Experience from employers with high security requirements in the public sector and/or banking/finance is an advantage. Experience of working with the rules in the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency's (MSB) statute book is also an advantage. Experience of holding presentations and conducting training courses is an advantage.
Relevant training in security is an advantage, for example, the certified security coordinator/security manager course at Företagsuniversitetet or the Swedish Defence University's course for security protection managers.
If you have previously established networks in the security field, this is an advantage, preferably with actors such as authorities and/or companies in the financial sector.
The role requires very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to communicate in a confident and effective manner to create understanding of security issues in the business, as well as having the ability to identify and evaluate these issues based on the needs of the business. Furthermore, you are committed and motivated by working both strategically and operationally.
You enjoy taking responsibility and driving your work forward, while also enjoying working with others. You have a good ability to plan and prioritise your work in a structured manner. As the work involves many contacts, both internally and externally, you need to be able to build and maintain good relationships.
