Are you passionate about making a difference through sustainable investments? Swedfund, Sweden’s development finance institution has an opening for a Senior Credit Analyst to develop their credit assessment and monitoring capabilities.
This newly created role will play a significant role in expanding Swedfund’s credit portfolio by enhancing internal credit risk assessment policies and processes in close collaboration with the investment operations. The role also involves setting up structures for increasing the use of credit guarantees, mainly from the EU, in order to reduce the risk level of the portfolio whilst at the same time enabling Swedfund to finance particularly high-impact projects. The Senior Credit Analyst will report to the CIO of Swedfund.
Main role associated tasks:
- Develop and streamline credit evaluation processes and policies , risk assessment capabilities and function
- Create efficiencies in credit processes
- Provide guidance and support to the organisation regarding credit
- Manage and monitor existing portfolio risk levels in close collaboration with portfolio manager
- Drive the increased use of guarantees as a portfolio management tool and represent Swedfund in various international forums like the European DFI network, where guarantees are managed, discussed and developed
Profile
Relevant candidates will possess around 10 years’ experience within Credit Analyses with a heavy focus on corporate credit analysis, negotiation of credit instruments and risk- monitoring.
Strong candidates will be highly accustomed to leading projects and ensuring progression across multiple functions and geographies. Exposure to performing credit analyses in developing regions as well as project finance analysis and guarantees will be considered meritorious. Experience of reconstruction of credits will also be considered highly relevant.
